I have a large variety of work ranging from drawings and paintings to wood and steel typographic pieces.. (example of wood and steel pieces: http://instagram.com/p/rAPP1YO7_6/ ) I’ve never submitted anything like this before, but I absolutely LOVE your site and thought I’d start here!

Creating Cloud Scenarios with @marcus1spannier

For more photos of creative cloud scenarios, follow @marcus1spannier on Instagram and browse the hashtag #usetheclouds.

“My parents kept asking me why I always gaze up into the sky and what do I see there,” recalls Markus Einspannier (@marcus1spannier). The auto body painter from Heinsberg, Germany, developed a passion for clouds as a little kid, and when his parents gave him a Polaroid camera for his 13th birthday, he began experimenting immediately. “I started holding up different items towards the sky. Or I would jump in the air until the photograph created the illusion of me standing on the cloud.”

Today, Markus is lovingly referred to by his friends as “Wolkenonkel” (“Cloud Uncle”) and channels the innocence and endless imagination of a child’s view on the world. As he’s come to realize, “Everything is possible—and nothing is unthinkable.”
